I *love* weekends* :)

It was soooo good to have a weekend off!!! It felt like it had been forever. :)
So, we got some more work done on Katie's room (gotta get it ready for her, my due date is 4 weeks away!! :) went and saw "The Holiday" it was a cute girly movie, the kind I love best :)
and a lot of it was set in England, which for some reason makes it even more romantic :)
and loved on our kitties. It was good for the soul to have some quiet time together.
And I made this scrapbook page tonight just for fun, it's been a *long* time since I've been able to do that and it felt wonderful! :) I played with the KI Memories christmas line, love it!! :) I especially had fun making the little ribbon border on the side. KI rocks :)
Tomorrow starts another crazy week!! :)

Today was a happy day for me, we *finally* put up our Christmas tree! :)
Kevin and I have both been getting over being sick and neither one of us felt up to it until today.

Wow...

Wow...this past week has been crazy! :)
I *love* Thanksgiving time so much, it's my favorite time of the year because I get to see my family that lives in Louisiana and Florida. This year was so crazy though, I had to work every day but Thursday and Friday, and I was fighting a really bad cold/sinus thing all week. (oh, yeah, and a stomach bug) :) Pretty much every one in our family was sick the whole week, and we just laid around being tired. :) But it was so good to see them!! I miss them already. I hadn't seen Hunter since last Thanksgiving! (my nephew in the top picture) he's getting so big and is so cute!

Friday my Mom and my sister Jessica threw me and Brandi a baby shower....look at how thin she is compared to me!! lol! She's due in February! Sigh. :) But it was cut short because my sweetie little nephew Gabriel had to go to the doctor, he woke up Friday morning with a knot on the side of his jaw and a fever...the doctor thought it was an infected saliva gland but recommended that they leave for Louisiana that day to get back home incase things got worse. I felt so bad for him, he's only 10 months old and has been through so much. Poor little guy. (He's the cutie in the last picture) So he is still in the hospital in Louisiana on an IV, and the doctors aren't sure what caused the infection. Man, life is crazy sometimes, isn't it??

I just wanted to share this cutie diaper bag that I got at my surprise baby shower Thursday!!! :)
I seriously could not have picked out a cuter one. I love it!!

So I went to the doctor yesterday and we got good news! :) Katie is already head down, and our doctor said that our pregnancy is going *perfectly*! :) Happy happy!
And he reminded us that we are 75% there, that is such a good feeling!
And.......it's official!! I will be going part time when she's born!! Woo hoooo! No daycare!! :)
I'm very very happy about that. Definitely an answered prayer for us.

Getting there!!

Something that I struggle with is wanting so badly to keep a clean and organized home. sigh :)
But we're getting there! Kevin and I made a ton of progress on our spare bedroom today, you can actually walk through the whole room! Woo hoo!
And we're moving my scrap space into that room so that we can get Katie's room all set up.
I know it's silly, but I will feel soooo much better knowing that my little girl will have her bedroom all ready for her. :) I still have two months before my due date, but I want to be ready!
So, my goal for this next week is to stay focused on the house and cleaning and get everything ready!! :)
Oh, yeah, and to try not to get discouraged when I wear out after working for 30 minutes. :) Part of being 7 months pregnant, I guess! :)

I'm a dork!!

Yep, it's official! I am the biggest dork ever. :)
I had never driven through an automatic car wash, so today I decided that since I got off early I would do it! Woo hoo!! Ha ha
My car looks much better now, it actually looks blue instead of having brown cat prints from our neighbors cat.
I am so weird that stuff like that makes me happy. :)

Green Eggs & Ham :)

Kevin and I both *love* reading, and I can tell that our little girl is going to be the same way! :)
Every night (well, almost every night! lol) Kevin reads to her and she definitely has a favorite book already, Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs & Ham. Every time he reads it to her my belly is jumping all over the place! I love that. :)

I saw a blog where someone lists three beautiful things in their life every time they post. :) Such a cool idea! So here are mine...
1. Feeling Katie Shae kick in my belly, it seriously doesn't get better than that.
2. Fall scented candles, yumm!!!
3. A night at home with my husband, love it! That hasn't been happening very much lately.
