Rainy nights...

Sometimes rainy nights are good because it's perfect for making time to hang out in your pj's, watching a movie with your sweet daughter and husband. We haven't done that in *so* long! It was wonderful. I'm all about trying to make time for the little things...we need to work on that more.
P.S. We watched Enchanted, I love that movie :) I saw it in theater, but I'm really glad that it's out on DVD now! :)

Love me some new scrapbook products :)

I am in love with the new Sassafras Lass lines! :) I have had so much fun playing with them since I got them this week at Scrapbook Addiction :) (Brandi, I'm gonna have to get the ones with the robots on them too :) )

And the first page I used Elsie's Toby line, love the colors! I have to say too, that I *completely* ripped Elsie off for the picture...I even copied the barrette. What can I say, I really loved her picture :)

So yeah! :) Just wanted to share those new pages, sorry for the horrid lighting on the first two. It's raining today, really dark outside.

*Happy Easter!*

Katie Shae had her first Easter egg hunt today! :) We had such a good time, went over to my sister Jessica's for Katie to hunt eggs with her cousins Jathan and Jared and we had a yummy cookout :) Just wanted to share a few pictures of my precious baby! :)

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter, remember how blessed we are to have a Savior that died for our sins and that He was buried and that He rose again the third day...because of this gift you have free salvation! You just have to reach out and take it :) (1st Corinthians 15 verses 1-4)

Getting ready...

I have these two pretty dresses hanging on the outside of Katie's armoire, ready for Easter weekend :) Her armoire is actually white...but I wanted to add a soft pink wash to go along with the girly theme :) I love having a little girly girl! :)
I have to hurry up and get some stuff ready for this weekend! There's cupcakes to bake, easter baskets to fill and a birthday supper for my husband to plan. Oh work, it gets in the way sometimes :)

Fun times...

This has been the *best* weekend!! :) I loved hanging out with Elsie, Amber and Josh and Silje :)We had so much fun, did some shopping in really eclectic cute shops, had a really fun sushi party last night and took lots of fun pictures today :)
I want to move into Elsie's studio, seriously :) Her loft is so cozy and cute and inspiring :)

I really loved getting to meet Amber and Silje in "real life", so much fun. I think that we should all just move to the same town :)

I missed my baby girl like *crrrraaaazy* though, so it was really good to see her when I got back :) Her Daddy took good care of her though, of course! (Thank you Kevin, for reminding me over and over that it's ok for me to get away for a little bit and have some fun) :)

Elsie, thank you soooo much again for being such a sweet hostess! Love you!

Going someplace *fun*! :)

I'm so happy that I finally get to share my weekend plans with you guys! :) I am going to stay at Elsie's loft this weekend, along with Silje to celebrate Amber Ulmer's birthday!! :) :) :)
I've been keeping my lips shut on this one, because Amber's hubby has had this surprise planned for a couple of months! :)

I can't wait to see Elsie again, and to meet Amber and Silje! :)
We are going to have so much fun :) I am just getting packed and ready, and will leave tomorrow morning. This is the first time I've ever left Katie for more than an hour or two, so I'm a little sad about that. But Kevin will be home with her, so it's all good.
Can't wait for a weekend filled with scrapbooking and fun with these girls! :) Lots of pictures soon!

While the world is sleeping...

I have been fighting being super tired lately...and you know what I do? :) Stay up even later blogging, cleaning the house, scrapbooking and watching Chelsea Lately on E. Sometimes I wonder about my methods :)
I will be back soon with pictures, I'm really hoping this pretty weather stays! I have picture plans that involve being outside with my little Katie and her tutu :)

My cute scrappy friend Fauve started a brand new challenge blog, Inspired by Amelie, and this is my first page for the challenge :) I absolutely adore the movie Amelie, it's so magical and whimisical...full of beautiful colors and really beautiful music. I added a couple of the songs to my project playlist, so you may hear them pop up once in awhile :)

Guess what? :)

I have some happy news to share! :) I got a call this morning from ASU, this picture of mine won 1st prize in the landscape category of their photography contest! I'm really excited, and very honored! :) I owe my brother in law Jamie, I was at my parents taking pictures of him and my sister Jessica and he told me to look up at the sky. :)
