I still haven't torn myself away from Colin long enough to get the pictures I've taken uploaded on the computer, but the hospital just posted his pictures online so you can click here to see him, and you can even leave him a love note if you want to. :) :)

He's here!!!! ♥♥♥

Sweet baby Colin Wayne was born yesterday at 12:43! :) :) He weighed 8 lbs, 6 ounces and is 20 1/2 inches long. (And this is with him being almost two weeks early!) :)
We are absolutely in love with him...he's *such* a precious little man. :)
I will be back very very soon with lots of pictures and stories about it all, but for now I'm going to be resting up, healing and snuggling both of my babies.

Not yet...

Just wanted to give a quick baby update :)
I went to the Dr. yesterday afternoon, because I had been having contractions since about 4 am...not very strong ones at all though.
Anyway, I am dilated to a two and thinned out (a little too much info? Sorry!) :) and my Dr. said that he expected to be woken up this weekend to deliver a baby. :) :) :)
Last night I thought for *sure* that I was going into labor, very very strong contractions...we were just about to go to the hospital but then they backed off. And they haven't been strong like that since. I am SO disappointed, but I know he'll come when he's ready. Still might be in the next couple of days.
My Dr. can be bribed with chocolate chip cookies to induce labor :) and I brought some yesterday...he didn't think it was going to be necessary to induce it so the bribe didn't work this time. (Since he thought it was about to happen naturally) but I may be bringing more to him next week if Colin isn't here! :)
I'm going to try to relax some...if that's possible. :)

Dear Colin....

Hey baby, it's Mama. :)
I just wanted to say that I am completely, 100% ready for you to be here...your diaper bag is packed, your closet is full of tiny size N blue clothes :), your car seat is in the car next to your big sisters (thank you, Sgt. Seamans!!! I was SO glad to get that installed today) and your Mama's belly can not stretch anymore. It really, really can't. :) I have the bruises to prove it! Your room is.......not ready. :) But that's ok! Daddy and I want you snuggled in your basinette in our room at first anyway. And when Katie cries "Mama, Daddy! Help!" at 2 in the morning like she likes to so she can get moved to our bed, it will be just the four of us all snuggled together in our little world.
I know that there are technically a little over two weeks to go, but your sister came two weeks early and I will love you even more than I do now if you decide to come early too. :)
You're fully developed now, and the Dr. says you are a good size! :) Tonight would be perfect...that way Daddy hasn't started his work week yet and he'll be home if I go into labor tonight. :)
I can't wait to meet you, sweet baby boy. :)

Best friend :)

This is my sweet friend Magan :)
There are so many reasons that I love her, but here are just a few...
*she is always always glowing and happy, her smile's contagious :)
*she "gets" me and we are always laughing over something, even when no one else understand what. (Including our husbands! haha) :)
*she loves God
*she is one of Katie's favorite people :) Katie was patting her leg and saying "friend" this weekend when we met them in Mtn. View for dinner :) Just look at how cute the two of them are playing together! Aww :)
*she's a wonderful Mama :)
*she is one of those friends that you know will always be there, even when you don't get to see each other that often :)
*and one last thing....I almost didn't post this picture of me because I look *horrible* (I think it has something to do with being nearly 36 weeks pregnant and sickly!) ;) but you know what she said to me more than once last night? How pretty I looked :) Awwww!
I love you Magan! Move back to Mtn. Home! :) :) :)

Katie isn't the only one feeling like cheering! :)
We have power back, after a week and two days!! :)
It was nice being able to stay with family who cooked for us and pampered us, but oh my there is no place like home!
Katie was so sweet last night when we walked in, she said "we're home!!!" and ran up to Kevin and I and gave us big hugs.

No power= :( :(

Hi everyone! :)
I am still alive :) We've been without power for a week today, ughhhh!!!
We're staying with my sweet in-laws a few towns over who have hot food and warm baths available :) :)
Just hoping that it'll be back up soon, BEFORE Colin decides to come!
